Terms of service.

These terms cover Glimmerglass, made by The House of Koco: the Framer plugin, the conversion service, the connector for assistants and this website. By using them you agree to these terms.

Your license

A license key is for you, on your own browsers, computers and assistants. It is one payment for a lifetime license, for as long as the service runs. Do not share or resell your key. There is a soft limit of 5 browsers to catch shared keys, and normal use never touches it; a key that appears on many new devices in a short time, or starts conversions at an unusual rate, may be slowed or paused.

All sales are final. If a payment is reversed, its key stops working. Gumroad handles purchases made there, under its own terms. Apple handles App Store purchases, under its own terms.

Your artwork

Your animation stays yours, and so do the files made from it. Only upload what you have the right to use. We use your files only to convert them, as the privacy page describes.

What Glimmerglass does

Glimmerglass converts an animation you already made into web video with transparency. It does not create animation or remove backgrounds. The files it makes are ordinary files you host yourself, and they keep working without an account or a connection to us.

Fair use

Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, upload anything illegal or anything meant to do harm, or use it to infringe someone else's rights. We may refuse or stop a conversion or pause a key that does.

Assistants

Assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude are run by other companies, under their terms. They can make mistakes, including in what they say about Glimmerglass, so check the results they give you. What you get from the conversion service is what these terms cover.

The service

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change it. Glimmerglass is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
