Your files, explained.
Glimmerglass is made by The House of Koco. The Apple app processes locally. The Framer plugin uses a conversion service. Here is what that means for your files.
Apple app privacy policy
The Apple app converts files on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. It does not send source files, generated media, filenames or descriptions to us.
Files you choose
The app reads files and folders you select and stores completed conversions in its Documents folder. Original files are unchanged. You control any copies you save or share. You can remove local app data using your device’s storage controls; copies you exported elsewhere remain there until you delete them.
Collection and tracking
The app has no account, advertising, analytics SDK or tracking. Conversion does not require a connection to our servers.
Purchases and sharing
Apple handles App Store purchases. Glimmerglass does not collect payment details. A destination you choose when sharing an export handles that file under its own terms.
Framer plugin data handling
The plugin’s public service is not yet live. The following describes the current implementation; deployment details and final retention terms will be confirmed before sales open.
Your selected artwork
Pressing Create Component uploads the selected source files, names and conversion settings to the conversion service. The service uses them to create the requested outputs. Moving a settings slider or viewing local estimates does not start an upload.
Completed media is uploaded to the Framer project you are editing. Framer then hosts those assets. The component includes references to those assets and its player. The service removes working source files after a successful conversion and removes failed job data. Completed job downloads are temporary and expire; a service interruption can delay cleanup until restart.
License verification
The plugin stores your key, activation-instance identifier and last successful validation time in that browser’s local storage. It sends the key and instance to Lemon Squeezy for activation, validation and deactivation. The conversion service also validates access before accepting an upload. Keys are not embedded in generated components.
Operational information
The service uses a temporary one-way license identifier for short-lived request limits. Its application logs record operational events such as startup, shutdown and failures without storing source filenames, full keys or uploaded content. The final hosting provider and its request-log policy will be documented before public launch.
Purchases and license records are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Project assets are handled by Framer. Their own privacy policies apply to their services.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive what you include and use it to respond. Please avoid sending private artwork or a full license key unless specifically needed to resolve your request.
This support website does not add analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting service may process connection and security information to deliver the site. Its access system may require sign-in while the site is private.
